Mr. Deepak Mishra presently serves as a Executive Director of Socio Economic and Educational Development Society (SEEDS), New Delhi, India. He has over 25 years of experience in development management, research, capacity building and training. He has been involved in tobacco control programme for more than one decade and forged strong collaboration with the state government. He has supported the government, in implementation of Cigarette and Other Tobacco Product Act 2003 (COTPA 2003) and in passing various policy decisions including ban of Pan Masala & SLT in the Indian states of Bihar and Jharkhand. His organization SEEDS has been selected for WNTD Award 2020 by WHO this year.
