A head and neck cancer surgeon, Dr. Pankaj Chaturvediis counted among India’s most noted anti-tobacco activists. He spearheaded the Voice of Tobacco Victims Campaign (www.vovindia.org) that was instrumental in attaining an all-India ban on gutkaand paan masala.Dr.Chaturvedi is the founder of Maharashtra Cancer Warriors that offers voluntary oncology services in Maharashtra’s district hospitals. He is also the co-ordinator of the oncology services on Lifeline Express, world’s first cancer hospital on train.
